The crossings are unpredictable and can happen at any time, which adds to the excitement. Even without a river crossing, you'll see massive herds of wildebeest and zebras stretching to the horizon.

Cancellations made 30+ days before departure receive a full refund minus a 10% processing fee. Cancellations made 15-29 days before departure receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made less than 14 days before departure receive no refund. We offer free date changes up to 14 days before departure, subject to availability and applicable park fee changes. The peak migration season is July to October, which is also the busiest time. For the best chances of seeing river crossings, we recommend booking between July and September. October also offers excellent migration viewing as the herds begin to move south. Book at least 3-6 months in advance for peak season as accommodations fill up quickly. If you prefer fewer crowds, the shoulder months (June and November) still offer good migration viewing with more availability and lower prices.
